This blog has been started by Tim Hoy, founder of TPS Photos (or Tadhg Photographic Services to be precise). TPS has operated on the principle of a workers' cooperative since January 1981. Our online galley is always open for viewing at http://www.tpsphoto.co.uk/

To coincide with the launch of our blog, we've also started to provide wedding photography gift vouchers for our clients. So many brides and grooms we meet don't need another toaster, but are struggling to find the money for the catering, the dress, the honeymoon, the venue, the band, the DJ, the gifts, the free bar (yes sometimes) the everything else that accumulates whilst they are planning that special day.

The good news is that your guests can purchase vouchers for the TPS wedding photography services. This gives the bride and groom the opportunity to upgrade to one of our top packages or merely reduce the cost of their existing contract.

From networking since 1981, we have been extremely fortunate and proud to serve with a number of other high quality wedding service providers. There are links to the many other people within our network from the TPS web site links page.

This month's earlier snow gave me the opportunity to take the camera to the park with the kids whilst the schools were closed. What started as a family snapshot opportunity turned into an event more akin to a wedding and portrait fair. Total strangers were asking me for my card. Thanks to everyone involved. Within this first post are a selection of my favourites taken that day.

5 people's work to tickle your fancy - starting with my own.

More links later - this is MY blog after all. The first attempt. Started on 24th February 2009. It's my intention to do a monthly update - more frequently than that would require more staff!
